Janet Walker and Mind of a Snail Puppet Co. are proud to present a shadow puppet film created to support the Pedalling for Papua bike tour that will be launched this week in Victoria at Alcheringa Gallery. The film will be shown all over canada as part of a cross country bike tour that aims to shed light on the West Papuan struggle for independence from the oppression of the Indonesian government.
You are invited to join Jeremy Bally ( pedalling for Papua) for a presentation on his experience in West Papua and the debut of the shadow puppet film. Puppets were created by Janet Walker, Jessica Gabriel and Chloe Ziner and filmed at the Main Artery studio in Vancouver B.C.
